Synopsis:
百济第27代国王威德王公元578年8月, 在举办百济宫中仪式前一天, 迷上了在哀婉的跳单人舞的舞女(燕嘉谋), 并和她共度了一晚. 第二天遭到了包括自己的侄子夫余宣(孝顺)在内的反对派贵族们的强烈弹劾. 国王迫不得已否认了前一天的行动, 并把舞女赶出了宫外. 燕嘉谋在腿弯山下一个人生下了孩子, 以卖红薯维持穷困潦倒的生活. 这个孩子就是薯童(卖红薯的瘦小孩子之意)本名叫璋.

薯童变成了坏孩子, 为此苦心的妈妈把他托付给宫廷太学士的技术博士木罗须. 可是木罗须系阿佐太子势力, 和宫廷内的实权人物夫余宣对立, 生命受到威胁, 为此带着薯童逃离宫廷, 到新罗避难, 并在那里开办了亡命技术工房. 工房分开发用碳素钢制作各种刀剑及铁制品的部门, 和包括三族土器在内的最尖端的开发陶瓷器部门等. 在这里学冶炼技术的薯童认识了善花公主, 可是由于善花公主的失误, 工房变成了瓦砾.

十年过去了, 薯童和善花公主再次相逢, 两人互相爱慕. 公主教薯童经书, 可是由于新罗王族, 工房的间谍人物沙宅己楼的加入, 三人的关系发生了戏剧般变化. 梦想成为三国最高技术博士的薯童和己楼在各个方面成为竞争对手. 两人对峙时总是薯童瞬间取胜. 有一天，薯童被诬陷向新罗透露刀类开发情报, 被赶出了工房. 后来在公主的帮助下开发了一种叫做「明光」的特殊盔甲, 得到百济实权人物夫余宣的认可, 堂堂正正的返回了百济.

薯童被召回宫内的百济工房, 边向倭国传授钢铁技术和陶瓷技术, 并准备和其缔结同盟关系. 新罗真平王得知这一信息后, 向沙宅己楼提出铤而走险的方案. 己楼为了得到善花公主的欢心, 只好答应. 这个时候, 薯童在与阿佐太子格斗过程中五色夜明珠被偷偷换走. 薯童已经知道了它的意义: 那是百济王子的象征, 并且知道了自己是王子的身份. 可是就在这时, 发生了作为使臣去高句丽的阿佐太子被夫余宣暗杀事件, 木罗须费尽周折让薯童和威德王单独面谈. 薯童得知了自己是威德王儿子的事实, 同时也知道了妈妈燕嘉谋和木罗须的关系. 夫余宣知道了所有的事实真相, 劝薯童进太学士, 在那里薯童集结势力, 准备向阿佐太子势力复仇, 当看破自己的侄子(夫余宣)有反乱倾向, 威德王正想把他逮捕时, 反被夫余宣先下了手, 暗杀了国王并夺取了政权. 同时将即是国王的弟弟又是自己的父亲的扶余系拥立为百济第28代国王---惠王国王

名正言顺的成为孝顺太子的夫余宣以参加反乱事件, 为由把木罗须投入监狱. 薯童无能为力, 只能眼看着自己的师父凄惨死去. 这个时候, 借助沙宅己楼和公主的帮助, 薯童和反对孝顺(夫余宣)的陈氏势力联手. 组成联合战线对付孝顺惠王国王一年后因病去世, 孝顺太子当上了百济第29代国王---法王.

在当上国王的同时, 随即免去了薯童的职务, 并要求他表示忠诚. 此时发生了「间谍事件」, 被卷进去的薯童的身份暴露了, 薯童和己楼逃出百济来到新罗, 法王为了逮捕他们向全国发出了通牒令在同高句丽解决国境纠纷时法王和近卫军势力的该氏一家发生激烈冲突. 陷入绝境的该氏一家在暗杀法王后, 和薯童势力会合. 薯童顺从该氏等贵族势力的安排当上了第30代国王-----武王.

在该氏和陈氏两个势力之间从事危险政治的武王(薯童)在防潮堤工程中用采用蒸发式方法得到了当地居民的欢迎. 在除掉地方兵势力后, 并将贵族政治全面赶了出去, 稳定了政权. 随后和新罗真平王协商, 迎娶善花公主作为王妃, 百济和新罗结成了军事同盟共同对抗高句丽. 那时, 失去了一切并准备逃亡新罗的沙宅己楼, 其间谍身份真相大白, 百济朝廷陷入混乱之中, 臣下们一致要求斩首善花公主发出哀切的呼救! 冷酷的武王的纠葛继续着???

ShuLing & I skipped our Spanish lesson halfway through and off we went to the newly opened shopping mall "Central" located at Clark Quay.

We sat by the river, drank beer and chit chatted for ages. Laughing out loud at those people at the opposite side having fun.
We had been friends for 10 years ! Woah~ How time flies~

She's not yet over that guy. Hate to see her in this state ! But what to do ?

As her best pal, the best I can do to help is to lend her my shoulders.
Although it's small with little support but that's more than enough to ask for .

By the way, anyone heard of "A Shoulder to Cry on" by Tommy Page ? Try it out ! It's nice . .

this thing have been bothering me over the weekend. i cant stop thinking about it except when i'm sleeping. but today i received a call which really brightens up my day. hopefully i will be able to pass the medical check-up tomorrow.

i was really so over the moon. on the other hand, i'm worried for ah boon. i'm quite confident that he will be shortlisted. but yet up till now he havent received any calls. it will be really wonderful to have him as my classmates. and i hope he receive the call which will brighten up his day. boon is suffering from split personality now. 1/2 of him is having low morale while the other 1/2 is already in ORD mode. he really hopes to be relieve from the stress that he is suffering now. i want to call him up to encourage him, to console him. but everytime he pick up the call, i will feel that he's pretending to be happy and act as if this doesnt really bother him. qiangfeng and me are trapped in a situation which we do not know whether to forward or to stay put. but i still want to say "good luck to you"
